I first met Joe through Steve Weiss playing touch football when I was around 12 and he was about 13. He was a good athlete, but he most impressed me as a good soul and gentle spirit. Our initial bonding never faded over the years and his endearing nature never diminished despite his increasing challenges with MS. I last had the privilege of being with Joe and Glenda at a General Rose presentation by Marshall Fogel at Temple Sinai within the last couple of years. Joe was in a wheelchair, but his uplifting spirit was as strong as ever.
We extend our condolences, support and love to Glenda and the entire family.

Glenda, I'm so sorry about Joe. I watch the service on Sunday from home and agree with all the nice things shared. You and Joe from the start 30 years ago at Feldman Mortuary were always so nice to me. I take with me in my retirement the privilege of knowing and serving you. You and your family are in my thought and prayers.

You could always count on Joe (Jose’) for a warm smile and kindness. Joe loved his family and friends. We’ll miss those conversations on his other love: hunting and fishing! Rest In Peace!

As a young child growing up in Denver and living on East Glencoe, I was so fortunate to live right next door to Joe and Glenda and the the girls. We soon moved to San Diego but our friendship remained all of these years from 1968 to present. One thing I remember about Joe was that he could toss a frisbee like no one I have ever seen. I also remember after Joe coming back from one of his hunting trips, tasting some of his wild bird that he made. Our family over here in California will miss you Joe very much. Our sincere and deepest condolences to Glenda, Karen, Kim and the entire family. RIP Joe
