Such sad news to hear of the passing of our beloved Trudy. She taught all 3 of our sons in Religious School and Preschool. And I was so fortunate to be able to work with her when she was teaching and be guided by her when she was the director. Such a warm, loving and delightful woman. My condolences to all of her children and their families.

Trudy was my 3rd Grade Sunday School Teacher, in 1965. While with time, it is easy to forget about most of the teachers you had growing up, but with Trudy, she was one teacher that I never forgot. She left quite an impression on me that I will not forget.

Trudy was SO special to our family. My kids, now in their thirties, were all very saddened when I told them of her passing, as she had the most influence on them than any other teacher, as young children. I continued a relationship with Trudy over many years until a couple of years ago...I was so sorry to hear she had become ill....she was truly one of the kindest, warmest, most loving people I have met.....Stan, too was such a wonderful man....as are their wonderful children and grandchildren. She will be in our hearts FOREVER. Sending love to her family. Love, Janie Leiser, and Nicki, Jordy and Wendy

Thinking of you at this difficult time. Trudy was a very special person. She will always be remembered for her smile, her laugh, her enthusiasm and her ability to make others feel loved and cherished. If you were lucky enough to be in her class, you were forever a part of her orb and she had the ability to make you feel as if you were the only one. In our case, Trudy had a profound influence on our son Brandon's future by recognizing his potential and his need for speech therapy. Her proactive insight was invaluable.
May her memory be forever a blessing.
All our love,
Mickey and Nancy Gart and family

I would like to share this poem dedicated to Trudy...Love, Jane Diamond
Memories and Fairy Tales... It seems that wherever I go people come into my life or go out of it, touching me where I can feel it.
Then leaving only a memory like the fairy tales of childhood. And I wasnt through knowing them yet. How do you know when you
are seeing someone for the last time. How do you stop and gather and keep all those around you who you have known and loved?
And how do you keep fairy tales from loosing their magic?
So come ,, brush against the walls of my life and stay long enough to get to know each other, even though we'll have to part
sometime. And we both know that the longer you stay, the more Ill want you back when you are gone.
But come anyway, for fairy tales are the happiness stories i know and great books are made up of little chapters.

I believe that I am the teacher I am , in part because of the time I spent with Trudy in the classroom, and watching Trudy in the classroom. She had an impact on the lives of children, parents, families, colleagues, and just about everyone she met. Her calm, gentle manner instantly made you comfortable. So sorry for your loss.
Our children Jake and Emily (now 28 and 32) both attended Temple Emanuel when Trudy was the preschool director. She was always there to greet us and our children. It was obvious she loved the children and was devoted to their development, education and Jewish identity. The photo of her makes me smile to think of her and sad to think that she has left us.
Our condolences,
