My sincere and deepest condolences. I remember Evan when he was young. A great boy and I am sure a great man like his father.

The gene was discovered in 1987, and medicine is still struggling to find therapies beyond approved medicines to diminish symptoms and extend a good quality of life well into later years. I am sorry Evan that you couldn’t realize that longer life. Maybe someday the picture will change. God bless.

Evan, I am truly saddened to hear the news. I have some great memories with you. The two that stick out the most are when we saw Power Rangers Live when we were little. Then back when I was in high school, I gave you that old Pokemon card I had sitting in my basement and your eyes lit up. The Holographic Charizard, I thought it was pretty cool how stoked you were. I'll miss you bud, you had one of the purest hearts of anyone I've ever met.
Your buddy, Luke.

Dear Evan, while it's not a "real" photo of you, this screenshot of our avatars together means a lot to me. I've had a copy of this image up on the wall of every virtual home I've ever had in Second Life ever since I took the picture. I have so many great memories laughing and dancing with you and I wish I could show you now just how grateful I am that you've ~always~ been there for me through the good and the bad. I feel so incredibly blessed to have you as a friend and you've really taught me to not take our time on this earth and with each other for granted. I love you so much, Sirocco. Thank you for everything. I can't wait to see you again but I will be patient and enjoy life the way you've always supported and wanted me to. ♥
I'll be praying and sending lots of healing energy to your family as we remember you and I will ~always~ remember you.

Evan, thank you so much for being such an amazing friend. The times that were spent together, though maybe not the chattiest, were precious to me. You are such an amazing person and you'll be missed greatly, but I'll keep the memories of times spent with one another close to heart and remember you as the amazing person that you are.
You'll be missed by all and your family has my deepest condolences. We'll meet again on the other side.

Evan, I've known you since late 2015. Each of our interactions were fantastic in their own right. We've shared calm nights to nights filled to the brim with shenanigans and laughter, I miss them dearly. I cant believe you are gone, you are sorely missed by many.
Thank you for all of the amazing memories, I hope our paths cross again.

Sirocco DJed at my club in SL every Friday. Dude could put together some of the best sets. He'd been challenged to do a set for every letter in the alphabet. He'd gotten to V... There was never a kinder, more big hearted person I'd met inside of Second Life. He was a very dear friend to me, and I'm going to miss him and his sincere optimism and quiet beauty more than anyone will know. The news of his passing has rocked me to my core. We're working on having a wake for him here in SL, a party of sorts to celebrate his time here among us, this coming Friday during his regular set hours. God speed, my friend, and walk in the light. You were always one of the best of us. Thank you for being my friend.

Evan and I had been online friends for 10 years.
We met while chatting on Second Life (an online chat community) and became fast friends.
He and I had a lot in common, from having a mutual birthday (December 13), to having interests in wolves, video
games and Pokemon.
Evan's kindness never went unnoticed in our group. He was always there for us in both the good times and through some of our toughest times of our lives. Our friendship was honest and true.
I am truly grateful and honored to have known him. I will miss him beyond measure.
Godspeed, Evan...
