Obituary of Jayne Schetina
Jayne grew up in Denver and attended East High School and the University of Colorado. She was married to Sidney Schetina, a well-known Denver Interior Designer. She spent her career working in interior design showrooms.
Jayne lived every moment of her life with enthusiasm. She was a caring and charismatic person who drew people to her. Her interests ranged from world events and social justice, to sports and cooking. She loved sharing, talking, and listening to people. Possessing a sagacious sense of humor, laughter was part of every conversation. Jayne loved reading, playing piano, and listening to music. She enjoyed playing games, solving puzzles, and improving her mind. She loved being outdoors and convening with nature.
Jayne is survived by her daughters Karen Harolds and husband Evan (Castle Rock, CO); Karen Schetina and husband David Japka (Los Angeles, CA); sons Mark Schwartz and wife Kathryn Deringer (Westerville, OH); Gregory Schetina and wife Elizabeth (Glendale, CA); brother Max Epstein and wife Judith Carr (Santa Monica, CA) and grandchildren Saul Schwartz, Ari Schwartz, Sam Schetina, Catherine Schetina, and Matthew Schetina; Service can be viewed on Feldman Mortuary’s YouTube Channel, Thursday, 12/31 at 9:45AM;
