Obituary of Bertha Daher

Bootsie” (Levine) Daher, also known as “GG”, recently of Highlands Ranch (Colorado), passed away on December 29th, 2020. Born in Los Angeles, California December 30, 1924. She survived her seven siblings and their spouses. The past ten years were spent in Colorado to be closer to her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Prior to that she lived California. She is survived by her daughter Frances Barron, her sons David Daher and Frank Daher. Her grandchildren, Paul (and Edward) Daher, Alisha (and Carlos) Daher, Jaclyn (and Matt) Lauer, Charlene (and Steven) Tourison, Jill (and Erika) Twersky, Kelli Daher, Alison Daher and Mira Daher. Her greatgrandchildren William Barron , Brianna Lauer, Kara Lauer, Elias and Beatrice Twersky. Hers was a very full life. The youngest daughter of Louie and Esther Levine, she always said “only the good die young…”. Recently, she began to question why she was still here. She “was the sickly one”, surviving more than fourteen primary cancers. Surgeries, cobalt, chemo, radiation, she had them all more than once. But she always kept her spirits up. Independent and always on the go. She and her sister would take off for the weekend just because. No fear, no filter, outspoken and unabashed. No one was going to tell her what to do or when she could do it. Whatever it may be. Rest in Peace, (Mom) and You are/were a blessing
