Bobby was my mother's pulmonary rehab therapist at National Jewish when she was battling COPD. His patience and kindness in dealing with her (she wasn't exactly an easy person) were without end, and his work with her gave her extra time and improved her quality of life quite a bit. I last saw him while waiting for our bags at a carousel at DIA, and he still remembered both me and my mother by name even though well over a decade had passed since we'd seen one another. Bobby truly was a treasure to all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.

We were very sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. We met him when he was teaching the pool class at NJH several years ago. He was a great teacher and we will never forget his patience and kindness,

Bobby’s caring nature, easy laughter, ready smile, love of photography and nature were second only to his ability to make others happy, to tell a good story ...and to help others see the beauty around them.
He will be missed...but delightful memories will bring comfort.
His cousin, Marcia

I had the pleasure of knowing Bobby in the Rehab department at NJH. He was a wonderful supervisor - lighthearted, easy going, and he treated us to donuts - really good ones! - regularly. I remember so many little things he did, like wearing his Earth Day shirt every April 22. At potlucks he always went above and beyond, bringing delicious food that was allergy friendly for our diverse crowd. He was always up to speed on the best movies and restaurants and we enjoyed talking with him around the lunch table. My heart goes out to Wendy and his boys. Rest in peace, Bobby, you will be missed.

When ones life crossed Bobby’s life, it made the world feel better. Thankful for meeting Bobby at Tuesday’s Hudson Gardens volunteers and sharing OLLI classes together. Departed, but not forgotten.

What an absolute sweetheart of a man and a true pleasure to work for at National Jewish!! Back in 1980 when I was desperately looking for work as a Recreation Therapist in Colorado, I called Bobby to inquire about jobs. He knew nothing about me yet he spent an hour on the phone going through contacts in his 'rolodex' suggesting I contact them for possible employment! Then 5 years later in 1985, Bobby and Laura Kelly interviewed me for a job as a Recreation Therapist/P.E. Teacher at National Jewish. Now 35 years later, still working as a P.E. Teacher at the Morgridge Academy at National Jewish, I have Bobby to thank for helping me find the job that has become my life's passion! He was SUCH a kind, gentle, caring individual and someone I genuinely admired! Rest in Peace Bobby!
