Debbie, Beth, Deena, Lisi,
My condolences on the passing of your beautiful mom.
I was lucky to have Gloria as a mother-in-law when my children were very young. Emma was almost five when Gloria and Marty were married, and, Olivia was just a few months old.
I always felt that Gloria and I shared a kindred desire to squeeze every drop out of a day. I loved her curiosity, her intelligence and her fierce energy. We bonded over swimming laps and talking about kids. How she loved to talk about the kids; her kids and grand-kids, Roger’s kids, and of course, Peter’s and mine. I’m sure she understood that as a new mom, I liked nothing more. Gloria was a good listener. She had a wide, beautiful smile and a laugh to match. She and Marty had that in common. I hold some beautiful memories of our times together. RIP my friend. Carin Zakes Green
