We loved Layah and Lenny. Layah made a deep impression on us with her wit, intelligence, style and sense of fun.
No one could be as loyal and caring to family. No one made better holiday meals.
Her love for Lenny was an example to all of us on how to have that special relationship.
Our children still have the baby blankets she knit when they were born.
She was original and larger than life. We will miss her stories about growing up in west Denver.
We loved her.

Layah has been a friend of mine since 1949 when we were freshmen at Nebraska Univ. That is where she met my dear late friend Lenny. For many years thereafter, we shared travel to Winter Park, pan games, golf trips to Aspen and many, many cherished memories. I helped Layah (and Lenny) with many family and business legal matters. We were very close. I watched her children grow and have families of their own. I was with Lenny in Scottsdale when their first grandchild was born.
Layah was a smart and tough businesswoman. If she was right, she was right! Never one to be shy, Layah supported Lenny with great ferver. You had to get early in the morning to outsmart her. Nobody ever did.
She loved Lenny with every ounce of her body. She also loved her children and grandchildren very much.
I loved Layah and will miss her.
