Myra and Jackie, bless the memories with your hearts. Ever since I left Denver and Shalom Park I have missed my morning routine of bringing my friend his newspaper before breakfast and being told how much he admired my tie. I offered it to him on many occasion, but never once did he take me up on the offer. To this day, in my new home in Rochester, NY I deliver the paper as the first thing I do to the several residents who are waiting for the good news of the day. I thank you, Marvin, for teaching me the importance of this routine and what it meant to start off each day fully informed of what was happening in the world! May you continue to bless all of us in new ways!
Marvin was a compassionate and gentle soul. His kindness touched all of those he was surrounded by. His smile was effervescent, and his laugh was contagious. We hope he find peace and happiness. He will forever remain in our heart and the hearts of our children. His spirit lives on.
