Obituary of Joel Ivan Miller

Joel Ivan Miller, son of the late Beatrice and Louis Miller, died peacefully on November 9, 2021. He is survived by his children, Paul Robert Miller and Ilene Robin Kohen; his son-in-law, Phillip Aaron Kohen; his granddaughters, Elyssa and Staci Kohen; and his loving partner, Sandy Goldman.

Joel was born and raised in the Bronx, lived most of his adult life in New Jersey, and moved to Denver, Colorado (“almost heaven”) in 2008. While he had an electrical engineering degree, his favorite job was running Reliable Hardware in New York. He loved talking with people, laughing, enjoying music (classical and jazz) and flying. Now he’s free to fly.

When we can gather together, we will have an in-person celebration of Joel’s life.
