Dear Jane and family, Larry was a catalyst who inspired people to work together for a good cause. I met him when I taught at UCD and he had an office at the Golda Meir House. He and I and a talented group of people started the Colorado branch of Jewish Democrats (alas, short lived). One of his many contributions to public discourse. A réal mench My condolences.

I am devastated to learn of Larry's passing. Every time I talked to him or saw him I would learn something new from him or about him. He had more interests than almost anyone I have known. We had a great connection and I shall truly miss him. Jane, Carol and I send our deepest condolences.

All who knew Larry are diminished by his passing. Larry was an unstoppable force for good throughout the entire community.
When Larry saw a need to repair our city, Larry always rose to the challenge. Larry inspired so many others to do their past. So sad to lose such a fine, wonderful soul. Honey and Chuck Goldberg

Baruch Dayan HaEmes. Larry and I were among the group of young liberals who wrested control of the Denver Democratic Party from the old party bosses in the late 1970's. We worked together to form the Sloan's Lake Citizens Group and the North High Neighborhood Campus Concept Committee. He was a true champion of protecting neighborhoods from runaway development. May Jane be comforted among the mourners in Zion and Jerusalem and may his memory be for a blessing.

Larry was a champion for all of Denver. A founder of Sloans Lake Citizens Group he paved the way so Denver neighborhoods have a voice today. He helped save the Golda Meir house from
Demolition and cast the mold of a true community organizer before it was vogue. Thank you Larry for all you've done for Denver. Blessings of comfort to Jane. May your memory forever be a blessing.

This is so heartbreaking to lose such a human. Larry was a true mensch. It was an honor to have met him & feel as though I was part of his life. I learned so much from him & always enjoyed his stories of his past. There were so many & it seemed there was always some sort of humor to them. Spending time with him was a blessing. He was such a giving person & really wanted everyone to benefit from better local government. Flying kites, playing with the dogs, meals, conversations, are the memories I will hold dear. Thank you Larry for including me in a small part of your life.
Here's a fun video I shot a while ago. It's a little long but so much fun. https://vimeo.com/40422960
