Obituary of Francene Rose

Francene Rose of Denver, passed away on July 15, 2022, nine days before her 84th birthday. Francene was preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon M Rose and her son, Larry H Rose. She is survived by her son, Brian (Lisa) Rose and daughter-in-law, Terrie Rose; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters Lenna (Bob) Gelfond and Rebette (Errol) Stevens along with many nieces and nephews. Francene also leaves the love of her heart, Jerry Feiner and his family who warmly welcomed her into their lives.

Growing up in the West Side Jewish Community of Denver, Francene treasured many friendships, many for 80 years. She had fond memories of her grandparents’ bath house and Cheyenne grocery store. With a photographic memory, she lovingly recalled many details of living in New York City where she worked as a flight attendant and being lovingly called “mom” as the camp director at Shwayder Camp.

A talent for meeting and loving people is something she passed on to her sons. She was known by her relationships, shining optimistic outlook, and good will towards all. In her last few years, she adored her friends and staff at Balfour. She loved attending classes, chatting at happy hour, and sharing stories, always with Jerry by her side. A graveside service will be held Sunday, July 17, 10 am at Rose Hill Cemetery; livestream available on Feldman Mortuary - YouTube Channel.  Guestbook and condolences can also be found at www.feldmanmortuary.com. Memorials preferred in honor of Larry & Francene Rose to the Cancer Care Center at Regions Hospital Foundation, 640 Jackson St Top 11202C, St. Paul, MN 55101 or online at www.healthpartners.com/foundations/regions/give-now/
