My deepest sympathies go out to Bob's family and friends. All who knew him surely loved him as he was bigger than life itself. I had only known Bob for about 5 years but in those 5 years he mentored me and helped me to grow and change my life for the better in so many ways. He was a straight shooter and honest to a tee. He held strong values and strong opinions and never wilted away when challenged. I am heartbroken over this loss, not for myself so much but for those who still needed him. I guess I still needed him and wanted him around. Just knowing he was on the planet with me was enough for me. He will be missed and I am so very grateful for technology so I could watch the funeral on youtube.
He is smiling on the other side and I am smiling here because even though we had different spiritual beliefs I know he is watching over us all especially his beloved children, grandchildren and partner. May God comfort all who grieve his loss and may Bob be sitting somewhere happy right now as he watches over us during this difficult time.
May love and light touch you all now and always!
The picture I share makes me think of Bob as he lived a grand life many times over in his 80 years. And in the end he surely knew what deep and abiding love was from his beloved.
