Obituary of Dona Mandell

Dona Jean Mandell (nee Masters) was born April 19, 1937, in Chicago, Il. She attended the University of Chicago, where she met her future husband of 64 years, Michael Mandell. She moved to Denver in 1957, where she worked as a legal secretary, real estate agent, and artist. She was active in the community and had many hobbies and passions, including Jewish communal work and leadership, dollhouse miniatures and dolls, painting and other crafts, politics, and Girl Scouts. She was devoted to family and friends. She is predeceased by daughter Leah (1972-1989), and survived by husband Michael, daughter Chava (Eric) Riemer, grandson Zeke, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside, TODAY, 11:30am, Rose Hill Cemetery. Donations to Jewish Family Services Emergency Fund (3201 S Tamarac Dr, Denver, CO 80231) or Yeshiva Toras Chaim (1555 Stuart St, Denver, CO 80204).
