Obituary of Lorna Sondra Sadie Gray

Lorna Sondra Sadie Gray, 91, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2022.

Married for 63 years to Gerald S. Gray (1929-2013), Lorna is survived by three children: Gary (Sheri), Michael, and Jim (Frann); four grandchildren, Phillip, Caroline (Alex Johnson), Natalie, Connor; two great grandchildren, William and Henry; and five nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Isadore and Anne (Clein) Sadie; husband Jerry; and sisters Jacqueline, and Patricia.

Her parents moved from Cork, Ireland to Salt Lake City, Utah just prior to Lorna’s birth in 1931. The family relocated to Denver when she was two years old and she later graduated from Denver East High School. 

Lorna dedicated her life to her family and dear friends, which was her love and top priority. 

She was involved in numerous endeavors throughout Colorado including working in the Denver District Attorney’s juvenile diversion program, and activating a project to help those who were blind gain access to braille reading materials. In addition, she gave of her time and good fortune to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and many other organizations. 

A private family service will be held.
