Obituary of David James Goodman
My husband, David James Goodman, died tragically and unexpectedly on Tuesday October 18, 2022, at the age of 44 in our family home. He was born at Rose Medical Center in Denver, Colorado on March 14, 1978.
David is survived by me, his wife Suzanne, as well as our three children Abigail, Jordana, and Zachary. David was a loving a devoted father and he treasured his children and embraced every moment with them. David will be deeply missed by his mother Rebecah Ziegler, his brother Josh Goodman and wife Avallina, his sister Sarah Domareck and husband Brian, his brother Justin Wenrich, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, and longtime friends from around the country. His father John Goodman predeceased him, as did his grandparents, Dorothy Goodman and Richard Goodman, Ilona Ziegler and Pius Ziegler.
David attended the University of Colorado Boulder. After helping to turn Service Magic, now Home Advisors, into a public company, David went on to join his brother Josh at American Income Life. He was a remarkable asset to the company in addition to winning numerous awards for his outstanding performance. David was an amazing athlete excelling in baseball, snowboarding, skateboarding, jujitsu, and much more. Equally loving to share his talents with his three children. David was particularly proud to be Jewish. David continued to uphold his Jewish heritage and preserved Jewish traditions through his family. David was exceptionally intelligent and proficient in everything he put his efforts towards. More importantly, David was a good, honest, and dedicated man.
Not many will understand, however, David was my twin flame. He helped me grow and learn in ways that will forever change my life. David played the main role in the person I have become today. David taught me the most valuable lessons about life, how to stay true to myself, my beliefs, and loyal to others. David stood by me through every single up and down throughout our time together. I am forever grateful to have had the privilege to be married to such an amazing and special soul who was always able to pick me up whenever I would fall short. He completed me and we understood each other on a level beyond explanation.
The funeral service will be held at 11:45 a.m, on Monday October 24, 2022, at the Jewish section of Fairmount Cemetery, called Emanuel Cemetery, located at 430 South Quebec Street, Denver, CO 80247. Family and friends are invited and encouraged to join and share their memories of David. The family requests that people make memorial donations in David’s name to the charitable organization of their choice.
David, you will always be loved, and you will always be remembered. XOXO
