Obituary of Arnold Lee Greenberg

Arnold Lee Greenberg, a native of Denver, Colorado, and graduate of East High School, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning of October 22, 2022.

Arnold “Arnie” is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Susan McAllister Greenberg; children Bernie (Julie), Cherie (Phil), Sandy (Jade), Ken (Anna Maria); stepson Michael (Valisha); grandchildren Alex (Tiana), Dylan (Priya), Austin (Jenn), Andrew, Stephanie, Annette, and Robert; step-grandchildren Jake, Ryan, Liam, Freya, Luna, and Joyce; great-grandchildren Tucker, Sam, Molly, Neela, and Roshan, brother-in-law Alvin and many cousins and nephews.

Arnold was preceded in death by his father Sam, mother Molly (née Naiman) Greenberg, sister Arlene, brother Gerald (Blanche) and great-granddaughter Quincy.

Arnold was a life-time resident of Denver and part-time resident of Santa Barbara, California. He was well known and loved in both communities. An innovative entrepreneur who believed in the promise of America, he facilitated the startup and funding of numerous businesses. A number of local and national publications profiled Arnold for his business acumen. He transferred his love of snow and waterskiing to everyone he knew. His wise counsel and selfless generosity of spirit were known by many. He embodied an infectious joie de vivre and love of family and friends, inspiring them to do good works and help others.

A graveside funeral will be held Wednesday, October 26th, 11:00am, Emanuel Cemetery (430 S. Quebec St. Denver, CO 80247).
