We are so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing.
Our deepest sympathy to Diana, Heather, Trent, Jacy, Emily Megyn and all of Ron’s family during this time of loss.
Ron and Diana made us feel very welcome when we moved to Colorado in 1990. They showed us their favorite restaurants. Ron, Bob Arimenta and I also golfed a lot (nothing like the joy of winter golf, watching your ball bounce on a pond of ice and on to the green).
A constant with Ron was his sense of humor. No matter how challenging work was, there was always time for a good laugh or two.
When Ron retired, it was great hearing about his motorcycle trips.
I’m glad I got to speak with Ron a few times last year. We will miss him.

In 1990, I moved from New Jersey to Colorado as part of ML’s big consolidation of Ops. We all had a focus on making Denver a jewel for Merrill Lynch and the right reason for being such a big hub of operations. A connection of the east coast was there, but knowing that there was more to life than the madness of that east coast. We realized where we were from but also had a penchant for not always being heavy - so work hard and play hard. Funny and inspiration came out especially at off work events. Golf was always fun as it lightened everyone up - not that Ron needed it, but he helped the situations.. He always asked about me and my family and likewise, especially his granddaughters! . I’m glad he and I had a text exchange before the holidays. Love him and a special person to have known..

My condolences and prayers to the Solomon family. Ron was my Manger when we relocated from Denver to Jacksonville FL. He had a great sense of humor, and I still use a phrase he used when we would have meetings with him, "Don't clutter the issue with facts." May his memory be a blessing.
