Dr. Rosen was multi-talented, serving in the Korean War as a Radio Operator and as a Correspondent for the Stars and Stripes newspaper and authoring the book “An American Rabbi in Korea” honoring his father, Rabbi Milton J. Rosen. In his religious life Dr. Rosen served as both Cantor and President of Congregation Bnei Tzedek of Kenosha, WI and was known for his sweet cantorial melodies. His professional life included many decades of professional service both as a physician and as Chief of Staff for Kenosha Memorial Hospital.

Stan and Bernice survived the devasting loss of their son in 1976 through the support of each other. Together they found the strength to rebuild a beautiful life that makes his loss all the greater for his family, friends and community.
