Obituary of Sidney Leon Eisenbaum

Sidney L. Eisenbaum was an accomplished surgeon who practiced Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Denver and Aurora for nearly forty years. 

He received his surgical training in the military and served as the commander of a M.A.S.H. unit in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was admired for his brilliant mind, having graduated with honors in high school, college (valedictorian), and medical school.

Those who knew him were awed by his breadth of knowledge, especially in history, natural history, and astronomy.  But he wasn’t all “head,” he enjoyed hiking, biking, and skiing, and was a voluntary ski patrolman for many years. He was witty and beloved for a sense of humor that ranged from silly and slapstick to dry and droll. 

Sidney was the Husband of Becky Clyne; Father of Pam (Mark George) Eisenbaum, Michael (Lorma) Eisenbaum, Jerel Eisenbaum, Andrea Eisenbaum; Grandfather of David, Nina, Ethan, Matthew and Sarah Eisenbaum, Quinn (Kathleen) Lockhart, and Ryan Martindale-George; Great-Grandfather of Kilani Arrietta; Brother of Albert and Allan (Sharon) Eisenbaum and Ex-husband of Jackie Eisenbaum.

Funeral service at Feldman Mortuary, 1673 York St., Denver 80206, Monday, April 3, at 11:30 am MST. The service will be live streamed by Feldman Mortuary's YouTube channel. Private burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
