Obituary of Don Weinstock
With great sadness the family of Don Weinstock, 87 of Oro Valley, AZ shares the news of his passing on May 31, 2023.
Don, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend was born on July 17, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York. Don moved to Denver in 1967 when he opened MDC Products Corporation, serving IBM, Hewlitt Packard and Boeing among many others. After retiring from his business in the mid 1980’s, he had the opportunity to run Accutronics Inc, a global mechanical development company for 20 years. After living in Denver for over 50 years, Don and his wife Claudia moved to Oro Valley, AZ in 2018.
Don’s greatest passion was his family. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife Claudia. He adored his children and grandchildren and took great pleasure in being part of their lives. He was an incredibly loyal and caring man and would do anything for any member of his family. One of his greatest traits was his selflessness. His happiness stemmed from the well-being of those around him. He also had a wonderful yet subtle comedic side to him. Everyone adored his dry and witty sense of humor.
Don was a member of Denver’s Temple Emanuel, and his Jewish faith played a key role in his life.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Claudia, daughter, Allison Peterson (Josh Peterson), son, Eric Eisenberg (Carie Eisenberg) four grandchildren, Madeline, Noah, Evan and Oliver, and his brother Jerry Weinstock and sister Marsha Weinstock. Don was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Weinstock, son Jeff Weinstock and brother Harvey Weinstock.
