Obituary of Philip Singer
Philip Singer; Husband of Vivian Singer; Father of Melissa (Joshua) Close, Rebecca (Lorin) Meskin, and Nathaniel (Mara) Singer; Grandfather of Jacob, Chana, and Avi Close, and Samuel Meskin; Brother of Joanne Singer and Eliot (Skip) Singer; Uncle of Jacquie Tannanbaum; Brother-in-law of Norman Chandler.
Philip Singer was born in Denver, Colorado on December 12, 1948 to parents, Rose and Milton Singer. Philip graduated from South High School, started working for the United States Postal Service in 1967 and retired in 2007. He married Vivian Chandler April 9, 1978 and had twin daughters, Rebecca and Melissa in 1980. In 1984 they welcomed son, Nathaniel and those were the happiest years of Philip's life. Philip was lucky to have seen his children all married; Rebecca to Lorin Meskin, Melissa to Joshua Close and Nathaniel to Mara Lampert, and even got to enjoy his grandchildren Jacob, Chana, Avi Close, Samuel Meskin, and even a grand dog Oreo Singer. Philip was the sweetest man that could ever be. May all of Philip’s memories be a blessing, to all of his family, and whoever knew him.
