Obituary of Stanley Singer

Stan, born in Denver in 1933, passed peacefully December 20, 2023.

Stan was the son of Dora and Harry Singer and grew up in Denver with his two brothers, Michael and Norton, and sister Judy. His memories and stories of his youth on the West Side, where he graduated from North High School, have become family lore.

Stan served in the Navy during the Korean War. Upon his return to Denver he opened a driving school, and is remembered by many in the neighborhood, especially the women, for teaching them how to drive!

Stan met the love of his life Sandra (Stark), they married, and had two children, Shelley (Curt) Brouwer, and Jeff Singer.

Stan pursued a career in the liquor business and spent the majority of his working years in both the wholesale and retail aspects of distribution. Stan ended his career running World Famous Singer’s Liquors, an institution that still stands today!

What a wonderful husband and father Stan was. He devoted his life to his family and making the people around him smile and feel good.

Stan is proceeded in death by his beautiful wife, his son and his beloved granddaughter, he is survived by his daughter Shelley (Curt) Brouwer, and Soheyla Singer. His three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, will remember their Pop and all fun and love he brought to their lives everyday.
