Obituary of Gail Nusinow

Gail Mona Finkelstein Brown Nusinow (and unofficially Zuckerman!) was born in Pampa, Texas on December 7, 1935.  She passed peacefully and beautifully in Dallas, Texas on Mar 1, 2024, surrounded by those that loved her.

What happened in between those dates?  Gail lived a wonderful life overflowing with love, positivity, selflessness, a very close immediate and extended family, motherhood, advanced education, several careers, deep friendships, trials and tribulations, a strong community, and much philanthropy and volunteerism.  She never met a stranger and was perhaps one of the most positive people any of us have ever known.  A more detailed obituary will be coming soon, but for now we will simply say that she is deeply loved and a huge inspiration to us all!

Funeral services will be held graveside at Mount Nebo cemetery on Monday, Mar 4 at 1:00 PM.  The address is 11701 E 13th Ave, Aurora, CO 80010.  Shiva (the ‘memorial reception’ for our gentile friends!) will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 PM that evening only in the penthouse of The Carillon at Belleview Station.  The address is 4855 S Niagara St, Denver, CO 80237.  Parking is located in the rear of the building.

Services will be livestreamed via the Feldman Mortuary YouTube Channel.
