Obituary of Jacqueline Flax Greenberg

Jackie Flax Greenberg, 88 (or as she said, almost 90), Denver; Wife of the late Sidney Greenberg; Mother of Jeff (Becky) Flax, Wendy (Melanie) Flax, Doug (Vena) Flax, and Stacey (Michael) Titens.  Grandmother of Devi Flax, Adam Coash, Josh Titens, Alana Coapland (Aaron), Ian Valadez and Annie (Mike) Bukay; Great grandmother of Zion and Nyla Valadez, Rai Willingham, Silas Goodwin, and Avery Bukay.

Jackie was born in New York and moved to Denver as a young girl.  She was married and raised 4 children in Denver.  Jackie had many passions including travel, reading, symphony, opera, art museums and politics.  Her world travels took her to England, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Tanzania, Mexico, Canada, China, Russia, and her most treasured place Israel where she became a bat mitzvah at 60 years young.  She was an avid reader who passed on her love of books to everyone she met.  Jackie never met a stranger and always had a kind word and warm smile.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always ready with a witty one-liner.  Jackie had many dear friends who she treasured for her lifetime.  She loved her family deeply and always wanted to know that everyone was ok and happy. 

Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 5^th at 1:45pm Congregation Emanuel Cemetery at Fairmount Funeral Home & Cemetery; 430 S. Quebec Street Denver, Colorado. Livestream available on Feldman Mortuary's YouTube channel.

Shiva will be held after the service until 8:00pm at the home of Jeff and Becky Flax 657 Golden Eagle Circle, Golden CO 80401

Donations in Jackie's name may be made to the  Denver Art Museum or Jewish Family Service.
