Obituary of Reney Lorditch

Reney Lorditch, Denver; Wife of Scott Lorditch; Mother of Marc and Alan Lorditch; Sister of Joe (Barbara) Sterensis; Beloved friend of Pamela Orth.

Reney was born in Brooklyn NY on September 20, 1954. She graduated from Brooklyn College with a BA and then from Pace College with a MA in Special Education. She taught Special Education students in a middle school in the South Bronx. Later she taught English at Rockland Community College in New York and at Red Rocks Community College. She's recently been volunteering as a mentor at Minds Matter Colorado, an organization that works to support high school students who are bright and who come from families whose income makes them eligible for Federal free lunch.

Reney lived in Israel for a couple of years and was there during the 1973 war. She's been a member of Congregation Beth Evergreen since arriving in Colorado in 2000 and was instrumental in launching the youth group at CBE.

Reney and Scott have been happily married for 43 years, and have two sons, Marc and Alan.
