Obituary of Mark Greenberg
Mark Greenberg, cherished partner of Judy Joseph, passed away suddenly on March 22nd, and was buried in his hometown of Troy, NY. Son of the late Sam and Florence Greenberg, brother Arnold Greenberg and Edythe Goldstein. Predeceased by brother Merrill Greenberg, and sister Leona Liberty. Adored by Michelle and Doug Striker and Elias and Isy. Favorite uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
Mark served dutifully in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Afterwards he made his way to Denver where he began his career in insurance, and then moved successfully to various cities in the corporate world, and returning to Denver where he was involved in automobile dealerships, property development and mergers and acquisitions.
An avid pilot, Mark founded Angel Flight in Colorado. He was an enthusiastic classic car collector and loved to make craft projects to give away.
Mark was always treasured as a thoughtful, kind, smart and loyal friend. His generosity was without bounds, his sense of humor was infectious.
For the last eleven years he and Judy delighted in their time in Denver and Florida and traveling the world. His life was devoted to what he could do for someone else, and never what it would bring to him.
He will be painfully missed.
A memorial service will be held Sunday April 28 at 4 PM, Temple Emanuel, 51 Grape Street, Denver.
Contributions can be made to Magen David Adom or AOPA Foundation.
