Obituary of Sharon Witkin

It is with great sadness that we inform you that Sharon Witkin passed away on
Shabbat afternoon, April 6, while she was in Canada visiting family.

Sharon and her late husband Bernie were founding members of Temple Sinai. She was one of the best Religious School teachers in Sinai’s history and continued up to her final days to be a beloved and inspiring presence at School and throughout the community.

Our hearts break for her children: Temple Sinai members Susan (Jon) Tandler, Andrea (David) Tenenbaum, and Mitchell Witkin, RaeAnn (Rabbi Harry) Brechner.

Sharon is the sister of Cynthia (Jack) Williams, Bette (Al) Guerrera, Marti (Don) McKinley, and Sheila (Yitzhak) Fieldust; Grandmother of Ari & Talia Tandler, Adar & Daisy Brechner, Madelyn (Matthew) Burcham, and Lea Tenenbaum.

Service, Thursday 4/11, 10:00am, Temple Sinai--livestream on Temple Sinai's website; Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Temple Sinai c/o Israel Study Fund.
