Kristy was one of my first customers. I did commissioning services for her and Chuck. She was like a sister to me. We had worked together from 1996 until 2022. I sorely miss her.

I am so very very sorry to learn of Kristy’s declining health and passing. She was an absolute joy to be around and is a huge loss to the world. I am heartbroken.
I had the pleasure of serving on the Fed board with Kristy, and always looked forward to her keen insights and guidance, but mostly how she lifted the spirits of every group she was a part of, no matter how difficult the decisions were that we were facing. She literally was a breath of fresh air, and a joy to be around. With Kristy, you felt like you could accomplish anything. She will be dearly missed, and fondly remembered, always.

Kristy was a fabulous mentor to our daughter while she was an undergraduate in engineering at CU. Our daughter saw very few women in her classes or as instructors. Kristi became a mentor and remained a friend and advocate throughout our daughter's graduation from engineering and medical school. Our daughter now directs a division at a major pharmaceutical company to develop therapies to save the lives of people with lung disease. Many thanks, Kristy, for helping our daughter and countless other students. Your efforts continue to produce great outcomes for humanity.

Kristy was a bright light in my world. She took me under her wing as my career in real estate was just beginning to soar. Her counsel and belief in me always made me feel special, given someone of her caliber saw my potential. From meetings to lunches, and dinners to phone calls, I always treasured the generosity of Kristy’s time. Our last conversation was on February 5, 2024. I offered to come visit with her, but she was hesitant to accept. I understand why. I’m going to miss our talks. I’m going to miss my mentor. Her kind soul will forever be an inspiration.

My deepest condolences to Kristy’s family. She was one of my best friends throughout childhood and adolescence. I have so many wonderful memories of our time as kids. Whenever Kristy and I were able to catch up as adults, she was always lively, interesting and great fun to be around. I admired her intellect and achievements too. I am heartbroken for her family and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

My heart goes out to Kristy’s family. She was a dear friend, mentor, and fellow board member at Water For People. Kristy was a true inspiration to me and a fun, and a brilliant human. I miss her. There is a space that is now empty in this universe and in my life. Things are dimmer without Kristy adding her joy and charm, and sharing her gifts and talent with us.

Kristy was an inspiration. She had boundless energy, compassion, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to contribute leadership, time, and money to a wide range of worthy causes. Although we saw each other only rarely over 20+ years and talked less often than I wanted to, she made a deep impression. I will treasure her memory.
