In 1984 I went on a trip to England with Dr. King to visit multicultural schools with other teachers and students from the University of Denver. When I graduated from college in 1972 I wanted to teach in England but at that time English schools were not interested in hiring teachers from the United States. What a wonderful opportunity to go on a trip with Dr. King to visit schools in England. Dr. King was an amazing tour guide and had connections with a variety of schools in England. She especially focused on multicultural schools which were very interesting to visit, I was so lucky to be able to go on this trip with Dr. King and experience English schools for two weeks. What an adventure!
