I am so sad to hear of my cousins passing! We shared many warm and wonderful memories around bubbie (grandma sunshine’s table with our poodle skirts on and the family gathered around eating chicken soup and canadles. I am so sorry you are gone, and love you the family!

So many memories of both Bonnie and Alan. The high school parties at the Sunshine home down in the basement, talking, dancing, and just being with friends. Alan taught me most of the tumbling that I learned in high school including a round-off-back handspring-back flip. He was much better than I was. It was in our junior year at GW on one of those evenings in Bonnie's basement that I was showing off doing a Kip (a silly simple gymnastics move) that I shredded my right knee which is a constant memory of both Alan and Bonnie. Painful then, but brings to mind so many other memories of those two who were always such good friends. So many of the boys had a crush on Bonnie...but to me she was more of a confidant, comfortable and easy to be with and always had great advice. Sorry we can't be with you in your time of loss! Hello Handler family- my family and I are so sorry for this loss. I have great memories of Bonnie growing up in FV, and through family get togethers. She was a kind, fun spirited, generous person and I will always be grateful for her friendship with my parents Cathy and Steve and to my brother Dan and I. Much Love.

To Steph and family, your mom had such a kind heart we knew that going to Stephs house when we were kids was going to be very fun, we always got great snacks at their house actually better then my house as my parents only had healthy snacks. We also got to spend the night and stay out later then our parents allowed after the BBG parties. Going to the Handlers house was always a great time! We all have so many fond memories of when we were kids. I am so sorry for your loss but know that your mom will always watch over you and guide you.

To Alan, Stephanie and Family and Ken and Family as well as her sisters our sincerest condolences. Rick & I met Bonnie and Alan shortly after they moved to Henderson, Nevada. We became very close friends, seeing each other weekly (or more often), taking day trips, playing cards, gambling, going to the movies and just enjoying each others company. It was a very sad day for us when they moved back to Denver but it was the best move for them as Bonnie needed to be closer to her family. I spoke with Bonnie and Alan every week since the move and we were looking forward to visiting them when Corona Virus stopped this from being a reality. Alan, you know how much we love you and wish we could be there with you and Stephanie to console you and offer support. Until we can travel again, we are here for you both and love you with all our hearts. I'll miss my Bonnie Ray (or Sunshine, as I used to call her) everyday, I am sending you all virtual hugs until we can meet again Judy & Rick Cowitt
