I met Mina in 1986 when my parents bought a painting for me from her gallery. Whenever I was downtown I would always make a visit to The Sloane Gallery. Mina was always present and shared so many great stories about a painting or artist. She was such a delight to spend time with. I will miss her, her beautiful smile, her warmth and knowledge.
I’ve known Mina since 2010 and we became very close over the years. Her incredible wisdom and amazing kindness was superior to most of the people I had ever met. She has always helped anyone, who was in need, whether they asked for it or not. Mina was a great lady and a beautiful woman, who has made a real difference and left an abundance of heritage to remember her by. It is a great gift of life for my family to have known Mina and to have had a special relationship with her. We will miss her tremendously and she will always stay in our hearts. Rest In Peace Dear Mina!
Our deepest condolences to Mina’s son Gene and the rest of her family.

A great storyteller, a passionate lover of art, and one of the unforgettable presences of downtown Denver. I’m proud to have shared many a cup of coffee with Mina, and to have been introduced to the work of such amazing artists as Alexander Anufriev and Boris Tselkov (to name just two) at Sloane Gallery. May the brilliant light she cast upon Russian art endure for as long as there are eyes to see it with, and hearts to be broken and uplifted by it.
