There will never be another man like SBC! Steven was my boss for 3.5 years, but it felt like a lifetime. Steven made me laugh every day, whether he meant to or not. Steven was truly a one of a kind man. He was so brilliant, and such a hard worker. He made us feel like family around the office and was so generous and thoughtful, and took such great care of us all. I will never forget him. All of my love and prayers to Robin and the rest of the family. I am grateful to have been able to know Steven, and will miss him dearly.

Shalom, Haver -
You and your family were always there to support the nonprofit Jewish communal work I valued, especially to assure our children keep Jewish traditions flourishing in the community, the world. May we keep the Jewish values you cherished alive past yours, and our lifetimes. May memories of who you were at your absolute best sustain Robin, Mauri, Whitney and Ross - who I've had the pleasure to know all these decades. We will miss you; I will miss you.

I was fortunate enough to work with Steven for 12 years. My favorite memories were of our holiday parties each year – this photo was from one such party circa 2008. I know they were very special to Steven too as work was his second home. He was one of a kind and will not be forgotten.

I met Steve at a black-tie event where I felt out-of-place. We clearly did not know each other as we lived in different worlds. Until I read obituary I had no idea how very different our worlds were. He treated me as if I were part of his very impressive life. When I told him I was retired he asked if I did any charitable work. I said no-I'm closer to needing charity than contributing.
The world has lost a real "gite neshama". He was a MENSCH. May family and friends find peace by remembering his incredible life!

My condolences to the whole family; Steven will be missed. I will miss how he brightened up my day and made me laugh. The memory I have is how he would turn red and tell me he fired everyone; I started to think he had no employees, then he reassured me he hired everyone back; Again made me laugh!
I will always remember the first day I met Steven and will never forget the last!
Love Heart & Soul,
