This pains me to write. Chad was my 1st cousin, younger by several years. To lose him doesn’t feel real or just. When younger, we were all united around the matriarch of our family, our grandmother Mary. Many holidays and events were spent in that circle, fond memories. Then, as cousins get older and build their own lives, they move on. I’m very proud of all the cousins, all vastly unique and to have seen them grow into their own persons and families, moving on to bigger things for themselves. Chad was no different, to see him go out and build his unique life. As I have nicknamed the rare few I’ve met in life, the trifectas. A person who was athletic, smart, and socially gifted yet humble enough you would never know. Chad was the epitome of that, a gifted person that was pleasant to be near, as with anyone that has spent time with him, I will miss that cousin and trifecta dearly.
