Obituary of Nevet Montgomery
It is with great sadness that we inform you that Nevet Sydell Montgomery died December 13, 2021.
Nevet is survived by her spouse, James Montgomery, her sister Ida Goldman, her children Jody Glick, Jeri Glick-Anderson (Charles Anderson) and Ora DeMorrow (Shannon Lynch), step children Matthew Montgomery, Mark Montgomery, Wendel (Lisa) Montgomery, Todd (Karen) Montgomery, Tina (David) Hay, and Jason Montgomery (Amy Dennison), along with grandchildren Sarah Anderson, Logan Anderson, Elias Williamson, Riley Lynch, and many beloved Montgomery grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nevet is predeceased by her parents Jennie and Meyer Breslow, her brother Seymour Breslow, and her first husband Arnold Glick.
Nevet was an accomplished watercolor and ceramic artist, an inspired Hebrew language teacher, and a passionate supporter of Israel. She loved her husband, James, dearly, and they made a meaningful life together. Nevet loved hiking, the outdoors, and the beauty of nature. She was delighted by her children and grandchildren, and always so proud of their accomplishments. The holidays together were a special time, with lots of singing and food. Nevet faced many challenges in her younger life, yet she showed incredible resilience and tenacity to create a life of creativity, beauty, good health and love.
A funeral service will be held at Temple Sinai on Wednesday, December 15th at 12:00PM, followed by a private burial. The funeral will be available on the Temple Sinai livestream (https://sinaidenver.org/livestream/ ). For those attending in person, you will need to present your vaccination card and remain masked while in the building.
