On behalf of the members of Columbine Lodge No. 147 AF & AM we would like you to know that Chuck was an outstanding Mason and we will miss him and his contributions to Masonry and Shrinedom.
Please call on the Lodge if we can be of some service.
Bill Feldman, PM Secretary.
I first met Chuck eleven years ago while researching the Weinberger family tree. He had done extensive research on his wife's, my cousin JoAnn, lineage. I was privileged to know him and learn of the extensive history that is both the Weinberger and Schloss families. Although we connected via video in the summer of 2014, I am indeed sorry that we never greeted one another in person. He was most definitely a mensch who lived a remarkable life. My sympathies to the entire Schloss family. May his memory forever be a blessing.
We met Chuck through JoAnn, and it was such a pleasure to know him. He was understated about all his accomplishments, and there were so many. What we will remember best is having dinner with Chuck and JoAnn, never shorter than 3 hours, because of the always intriguing conversation. Chuck and JoAnn were so in love, and their love and commitment to one another is the role model for us.
Chuck was a kind and decent human being who touched many lives.
Our condolences to the Schlosses on the loss of this wonderful man.
