Obituary of Eileen M. Eller

Eileen M. Eller, 95, passed away in Denver on November 29, 2022. She is survived by her children Lisa Eller Davis (Jim Harris) and Les Eller (Margaret Segal),  grandchildren Dana Kopper (Peter Kopper), Zac (Jeremy Huang) and Carrie Davis, and great-grandchildren Brody and Cameron Kopper. She was predeceased by her son Jim Eller.

Eileen was blessed with a life of adventure, learning, art and loving family. Though she endured several tragic losses, she was resilient, joyful, and generous in ways that endeared her to all who knew her. She was active and engaged during the whole of her life, pursuing athletics, travel, fiber arts, and gardening. She co-owned a folk art gallery and was involved in other galleries, including Pismo Gallery in Cherry Creek, for decades. She continued volunteering for Jewish Family Services up to her death. She will be greatly missed by the generations of family and friends who were blessed to have her in their lives.

A Memorial Service will be held this Friday, December 2nd at 11:00 am at Feldman Mortuary, 1673 York St, Denver, CO 80206.

Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at Eileen’s home and visit till sundown (around 5:00 pm).

The family will receive visitors on Saturday between 1:00 - 700 pm, with a brief
havdalah and shivah service at 5:00 pm. Sunday they will again welcome
visitors from 12:00–4:00 pm.

Donations in Eileen’s honor can be made to Jewish Family Service, Colorado Public Radio, and Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains.
