Mr. Jolton was brought on as President of the T A CHAPMAN CO., in 1977 two years after I was hired as their Maintenance Man (kid actually because I was 17 at the time). He was very down to earth and it was easy to talk to him. He and Eva along with Joseph, Michael and Jeffrey were all good people. May his memory be a blessing.

I had the pleasure of working with Stan here in Milwaukee not only at Chapmans but also with him at Polacheck/CBRE and he was terrific mentor especially with his favorite straight martini.
My deepest sympathy to the family

Stan was a wonderful companion and friend to our mother, Rosalie; it was a privilege to be included in his family. We will miss him.

After meeting Stan late in life, I quickly concluded that this is a man by which all other men could be measured against, myself included. The thing I first noticed about Stan was that he was strikingly handsome, yet he was humble and modest in character. As I got to know Stan, I could see that he was a person of values, and used those values as a the guardrails of how he lived his life. Stan had impeccable manners which are rarely demonstrated by others in today’s world. He was a man who shared of himself, but he was much more interested in getting to know you. When he came for dinner, he brought flowers and a fine bottle of wine, and he was a person of good taste When I first met Stan, he was warm, engaging, and an immediate friend. When I last met with Stan, he was warm, engaging, and a good, lasting friend. Stan was always gentle and a gentleman. The world seems a little emptier without him. My deepest sympathy to his family.

What a great picture of Stan to remember him by!! He always had that distinct smile on his face.
Stan was a first cousin to me and my sister Geri. We grew up in Lamar, CO and always looked forward to spending time with Stan and his brother Bob. Geri called me last night to let me know that Stan had passed away. He was a remarkable person and lived a long, healthy life. To J, Mike & Jeffrey and the entire family -- I'm so sorry. Please know I'm thinking of all of you, however, I will not be able to attend the service in person. I hope to be able to watch it livestream tomorrow however. Your Dad touched many people's hearts and lives throughout his life and family was so important to him. I vividly remember all of the "business trips" to Denver that I took with my Dad (Abe - sister to your grandmother) and many times we would always make a stop at Fashion Bar to say hello to your Dad. (That was approximately 60 years ago or so, but so clear in my mind and doesn't really seem that long ago!) Your Dad always made time for us.
The last time my sister, your Dad, and I got together was in May of 2016 when he came out for graduation at CU. He and Mike came to Geri's house and we had a great visit. I'm attaching a couple of photos taken that day to share. Prior to that visit, we got together (again at Geri's house) before your Mom passed away when they both made a trip to the Denver area. That was a great visit, as we hadn't seen either one of them in many, many years.
Although the 3 of you, as 2nd cousins, and Geri and I haven't been in contact with each other (other than Geri with Mike occasionally), we haven't had the opportunity to meet and develop a family relationship, and it is sad, but distance has put many families in that situation. We will always still be cousins.
Stay strong. I'm glad that he was able to celebrate his 96th birthday only days before he passed away and was clear-minded at that point in time. Best of all, he had a quick, peaceful end to a very long, successful life. RIP Stan.

My deepest sympathies to the Jolton family. Stan was a dear friend of my parents, Rabbi Jay and Rita Brickman, for so many years! They went out together innumerable times and Stan always drove :-) and now I realize he was only 4 years younger than my dad! He was a devoted member of my dad's Saturday morning Torah Study for so many years, and that is where he met his late life love, Rosalie Gellman. They attended sedar and Rosh Hashanah lunch at my home many times. Stan always brought his lovely smile and a fine bottle of wine! After Stan moved into assisted living, and after my dad passed away, I visited Stan there every couple of weeks to provide company and some comfort, and somehow, he always ended up comforting me! Stan was one of the best men I have ever known of any age, and had the best manners of any man I ever knew!! I will miss him terribly...
