I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Goldfogel and his wife Denise once in NYC when visiting their adoring daughter Ilana, my friend and colleague. Dr. Goldfogel and his wife were so kind, thoughtful and very proud of Ilana. I know that Ilana cherished her dad and she will be surrounded by her loving family during this time and friends/colleagues who care. Prayers to the Goldfogel family.

Dear Mrs. Denise Goldfogel and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of great loss. May God fill your hearts with light, and in time, the ease of reflecting on treasured memories spent together provide you more gratitude than sorrow.
Dr. Goldfogel was our family dentist for over 20+ years and even cared for my parents’ dental needs. He was a phenomenal dentist and true artist, working miracles on our smiles. While attending our own dental appointments, he always told warm, loving and wonderful stories about each of you! He was one in a million.
My family and I are lucky to have known him, our dentist and friend. He is missed, and he will be forever remembered.
Sincerely,
Rhonda Poelma

Dear Goldfogel Family,
I was so sorry to learn of Mike's passing.
We were in Kindergarten together- front row of course. I knew with his intelligence, he would be something important, when he grew up. Years later, our paths crossed when our sons were in a class together.
My sincere sympathy to the family.

The Martin family wishes to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Dr. Goldfogel. He was an exceptional dentist who provided care for our family over many years. His compassion and dedication to his patients were unparalleled. Dr. Goldfogel consistently took an interest in our lives and offered unwavering support during challenging times. Our conversations often revolved around sports, particularly golf. Although I may not have always been prepared for the dental procedures, I eagerly anticipated our discussions. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rest well, dear friend. He was truly a remarkable individual, and such individuals are rare.

Dr. Goldfogel took care of me for over 30 years. My family had just moved to Denver and knew no one. Wouldn't you know it - I lost a crown on a Saturday evening. I left messages with several services, and he was the only one who called me back. He replaced the crown the next day - a Sunday! He always went that extra mile. My condolences to his family and friends!

I spent 20 years of my life working side by side with Dr. Goldfogel. He was like a dad to me! He experienced all my highs and lows, and I am sure at times I was overwhelming with all my drama. I also experienced all of his highs and lows, so I guess we were even. Dr. Goldfogel was the best boss and friend he truly took care of me over the years. He had a huge heart!! He listened to me and provided advice. (I didn't always like it but most of the time he was right) He played a huge part of the person I am today; I would have never gone to college if it wasn't for him pushing me to go. I learned everything there was to know about sports and what was going on in the world. I will forever be grateful for the time we spent together and the lessons he taught me. I was telling someone a few weeks ago that it was sad that I spent so much time with him and had not talked to him in a while and I needed to reach out. That never happened, and I will forever regret not reaching out sooner. My heart goes out to the Goldfogel family! He truly cared about his wife and kids. His beautiful Granddaughter was his pride and joy! I pray that time brings you guys peace, and you hold on to the memories you have!

I want to offer my deepest condolences to the Goldfogel family.
An appointment with Dr. Goldfogel was much more than dentistry. It was an experience. I loved his quirkiness and sense of humor.
When I was diagnosed with Leukemia, Dr. G. took the time out of his busy schedule to inquire about my condition, prognosis, and treatment. He became an unexpected advocate at a very frightening time for me. I will forever be indebted to him for his kindness and generosity.
May his memory be a blessing and bring you peace.

I haven't seen Mike since we graduated high school, but i will tell you this, that man had ball. He was a gifted basketball player who suffered from lack of height. Had he been a little over 6 feet tall he could have played college ball, he was that good. He was a very nice guy. May his memory being a blessing to those who knew and loved him.

Dr. G, How can I thank you for the care you took of me for over 45 years. We were so young the day I walked into your practice. We watched our families grow up together, and watched each other grow older too. No regrets as you knew how much your care of me meant to me, I will never forget how you helped me when I needed you most. I last saw you one month ago, I'll always remember waving goodbye in the lobby, saying see you in the summer. Hope you are playing endless rounds of golf now, I know how much you loved that game. I will miss you......Penni

To the Goldfogel family, Michael was my wife and my dentist for many many years. We had full trust in him and put up with his antics to get his excellent care. One time on Yom Kippur, when I had cracked the root of my front tooth, Michael set up the oral surgeon and assisted with my tooth extraction on a Saturday morning as there was no assistant available. He was instructing the oral surgeon on what he needed to do and I finally told him to shut up, assist the surgeon, and let the surgeon pull my tooth.
My appointments always lasted an additional 30 minutes as he always had to gossip or tell me about his golf travels with his son. He was the best!! I enjoyed playing golf with him many times and always laughed at his jokes and stories. RIP Michael

To The Family:
We are saddened for your loss. Our deepest condolences and wishes for a lasting peace of mind.
A Memory:
When I first met Dr. Goldfolgle, and with my mouth full of stuff that he jammed in there, it became apparent, very quickly, that he was interested in many things, and -as an understatement, especially in golf.
After that initial encounter, I would find out how he had not only practiced dentistry but worked hard to significantly and laudably contribute back to its progressive path. His contributions to the profession, and his mentorship to others were singularly substantial. Here, I thought that he was just a retired golf pro, changing professions later in life, who was an incredibly fast learner!
He also had a great, bitting sense of humor -which I greatly appreciated.
We had some great times exchanging our points of view concerning, among other things, his addiction to golf...... me spitting water back at him and him telling me where the next -local or distant, golf game would be. Now, that I think of it, he was kind of a one-track-minded fellow and yet a very interesting one!
Upon his retirement, my wife and I continued coming to the practice. I was actually always pleased that he had finally escaped to the greens and was out there not worrying about business. He made sure that we were left in good hands, although, I did take some solice -there in all our acute abandonment, that he still had to deal with outrageous green fees!
Now, with his passing, I worry about who else I can criticize for retiring and getting away from us, just so they could have fun?! If it was not for his "rabid" dedication to the links, we would certainly have taken his retirement personally -him having had enough of us talking through cotton, and he as certainly longing for the speach clarity of a good caddy......
But alas, like the best of the golf breed, the sport was not just an escape for him, and thus, we, and the countless thankfull, probe in the mouth, gurgling others who deeply appreciated this good man, are thankfully disburdened from the blame for his incredibly active life switching into fine retirement mode.
We will, indeed, miss knowing that he is almost always out there on a course, or certainly getting ready to be so. However, I am sure -and this lifts our spirits, that he is exceedingly happy in a place with really good weather and none of those pesky green fees!
Peace be at hand.
Best regards,
-William and Christine Kuenning

Dr. Goldfogel was the only dentist I was ever willing to go see. His personality was one of a kind and his kind words were never taken lightly. He made a great effort to make me feel confident, in fact, he made it his personal mission and insisted on gifting me his time until I was confident with my smile. Dr. Goldfogel will be very missed!
